These are new un used USGI MOLLE Shovel oe Entrenching tool Pouches.
Two MOLLE straps are enough to secure this pouch Loaded to your Pack or Rig. Genuine US made for the Military so you know its built tough.
They switched to the Digital Pattern after this so they surplussed NIB pouches.
Also good to protect what ever else is in the trunk from the E tools Awesome destructive Power!

Probably a wonderful shovel carrier. More usefully, these cases fit a 32 oz/1 litre Nalgene bottle *and* the GSI nesting cup. A great way to carry your Nalgene bottle on a belt or attacked to a pack using MOLLE/PALS straps.
The oversize 40 oz Kleen Kanteen steel bottle will just fit in one of these, also.
