The Canadian Army produced these IECS parkas for such a short time in the Late 1990 early 2000. The Program was converted into the ICE system they still use today. The Parka we have offers upgraded Cargo pockets low on the coat as well as double access double Breast Pockets. The hood is still Zipper and Button and Wool lined and still has a copper wire to bend the hood outer edge to your liking. Hood is also large enough to accommodate a Helmet. The Parkas Insulation layer has the goretex layer to prevent moisture build up inside as well as rebuke the cold rain or snow melt that you ,may encounter after 48 hours on the go out in the Canadian Wilds.
